Steam Deck Update 3.3.2 Fixes Major Audio Bug, Other Improvements
Another major Steam Deck software update is here, but this one addresses a very specific problem with the handheld's audio.
After a recent update, many Steam Deck users reported having problems with audio popping or crackling on occasion, especially when the device was running on battery power. Steam has responded quickly and released a new update, 3.3.2, that specifically targets this issue.
According to the official patch notes, the update "fixes an issue causing popping/crackling audio." It also makes some other minor improvements, including:
- Improved performance of the system fan.
- Fixed an issue where the performance overlay would not display corretamente in some games.
- Fixed an issue where the Deck would sometimes crash when waking from sleep.
